Gallery of the Brides
When I first started shooting weddings here in NC and was asked to do a bridal portrait, all I thought was, "What is that?".
Years later of doing them, I understand the true value of having a bridal session before your wedding date!
For one, the fast-paced nature of your wedding day doesn't *always* allow a bunch of time to create some super unique portraits of our brides. It is always a standard for us to do pictures of the bride by herself on her wedding day, yes. This typically amounts to about 15 minutes of shoot and move time. Strike in comparison 15 minutes of shoot time against an hour and a half of shoot time, and you'll notice the option and lighting scenarios increase to reveal an over-the-top portfolio of yourself as a bride.
I would reason a guess that 75% of our brides opt to do a bridal portrait session as part of their wedding collection with us. It also is a fantastic trial opportunity for your wedding day hair & makeup and bridal bouquet by your florist. We've had several of our brides change up their wedding day looks and bouquets based on how everything came together during their portrait session.
Bridal sessions are typically done 30-45 days before the wedding to allow enough time to turn around a gallery and framed portrait. Our brides purchase a portrait to have on display at their reception.
And don't worry about a dirty gown. We won't throw you in the mud or make you roll down a grassy hill! We are mindful of dirt during the process of shooting, however you may want to plan for minor spot-cleaning by your dry cleaner before the wedding.
Bridal sessions outside of our wedding contracts are offered at $299 and include $100 product credit. We do travel within 45 minutes of our studio. Outside of that, a light travel fee will be applied.
