Who I am . . . .

At heart, I am a kid.
At play, I am an artist.
At work, I'm giving a 100% of who I am to my art.
At home, I am a Mom and a wife and an accountant
and a nurse and a chauffeur and a cleaning lady
and a landscaper and an interior decorator and a chef.
I'm not perfect at it, but I work very hard at it everyday.

What you should know about me . . . . .
I'm entirely laid back and fun.
I like making people laugh.
I love a challenge.
My artistic eye and penchant for relating to people, I recognize and
embrace as my gift.
Being a photographer doesn't define who I am, but it certainly has
shaped the person I've become.
I'm a better person because of my photography and my clients;
my muses!

Am I wise? . . . . .
I've come so far and gained so much as a person by experiencing the
good alongside the bad.
I believe that in every obstacle or sticky situation in life, there is
an opportunity for growth in some way.
That a day not thinking about the future is a day neglected.

I am unique. I am close to my heart.
Bottomline, this is me!

Smithfield Wedding Photographer – {Rosedown Weddings} Michelle & Lee

If you haven’t seen Rosedown Weddings in Smithfield, GO! It’s an adorable rolling hills estate with an Old Plantation Style home. Played backdrop to my June couple, Michelle and Lee. My military couple opted for their wedding to be held under Rosedown’s gazebo in the front and I concur, it was a good idea. Temperatures...

Raleigh Wedding Photographer – The Cotton Room, Durham, NC {Aaron & Kristen}

I knew going into the wedding of Kristen and Aaron that I was in for a detailed treat. Only shocker was that purple and gold weren’t their wedding colors. The devout ECU Pirate fans began their romance through the introduction of a mutual friend, at Aaron’s house over an ECU/Navy game. Their love for each...

Raleigh Wedding Photographer – Cotton Room Durham

To say my darling bride Jessica is effervescent is an understatement! Her boundless enthusiasm is entirely contagious. This is round two for me with the Borrelli family(no we’re not related) and the last sadly. No more Borrelli children for me to shoot. What an honor it is that they chose me twice! This time it...

Oh, So Chic Halloween Wedding- Barclay Villa, Angier-NC

When I met with Kim and Brian last year; I walked away from a great meeting and knew I really wanted their wedding. The theme was to be a Halloween goth wedding on Halloween night. It is truly my most favorite holiday, one in which I legally can transform into a kid again. This wedding...

Ben + Elizabeth – High Point, NC

Love an overcast day as a photog. No squinters and the colors are saturated, just how I like them! And throw in a gorgeous couple with impeccable style, and you’ve got a recipe for magical pictures. Ben and Elizabeth date back to the days of Red Lobster. The romance stewed up between the two over...

Brett + Allison-Preston Woodall House – Benson, NC

What a wedding! I met the sweet couple back at the bridal show last January when Allison came gimping up to me on crutches. Joel Hurley from the Preston Woodall House in Benson was at the same show and sent them my way. Thanks Joel!! We talked for awhile and later wrapped things. They were...

A Wedding High . . . . grove Style

I don’t know that I’ve ever not been shooting a wedding at Highgrove when it’s less than 90 degrees. Yeah the temps were high the day Tim & Jenna got married. Not a big deal as the tent that hosted their 150+ guest reception was quite the party-like air conditioned atmosphere and the groomsmen played...

The Watermelon Queen and her Groom

Picture this . . .Benson, NC. You may not know Benson, but to me it embraces all that is Carolina ‘country’. Old farmhouses with a history. Fields of rye, hay, and cattle.  This country farming town played backdrop to my most recent wedding of Stephanie and Scott. Scott the owner of a trucking company and...

Finally . . .

I’m not just making fun of my May 2nd couple, but rather referring to the favors of a beer cozy that graced the bar at their wedding. ‘They Finally Did It!’. I guess an ongoing sentiment amongst Tray, Nicole and their family and friends. The couple had been dating for almost 8 years before their...
